I had the chicken Philly w fries and a crab cake. Food was about 20 bucks and I tipped. Didn't give dine in vibes so I packed my food in my saddle bags and rode to a Lowes parking lot to eat. The chicken Philly and fries were great. Piping hot, fresh and had plenty flavor. The crab cake was just okay. I didn't taste a lot of seasoning BUT it was packed with crab. I didn't want to open the sauce that came with it on my bike so, it is what it is. Will come again. I'll drive my car next time tho
Review: The food was extremely disappointing. It was soggy, overly spicy, and lacked any real flavor besides the overwhelming heat. Amazing food , quick service decent people. The staff is always quick to take care of you. They are all so nice. The orchids as garnish are always such a nice touch. I appreciate them and the food they make. It’s like home cooked comfort food... It’s take out no dine in. I miss this place already and I haven’t even moved yet :,) they wrote a note on my last order!!! They’re literally so nice go buy their food. The Philly cheese fries? SMASH Fried clams ? Snappin’ never rubbery or gross, perfectly seasoned. You can taste the love in the wings thank you for all the love!
A little diamond in the rough. So, on occasion I order from another stripmall seafood restaurant in my area. I won't go into much detail but I noticed the reviews took a nose dive lately-a new management thing. Chef Skip 757 was listed in Google reviews, very highly, as I searched for another take-out restaurant. It's off the main roads. I'll give it a try. My wife and I really enjoyed the food. The fries were a plus as they were "Ralley's" like. All good except- I dropped one star for the atmosphere because of the location. Maybe that's not fair but I really believe this restaurant could go to another level in a new location. Maybe get the location of that other place I alluded to earlier....ok, it has "K" in the name- that's all I'm giving you. There is a storefront next to the "International Market", a score of other restaurants failed there. I'm positive this one could have thrived there. It seemed the small strip mall did not provide lighted signs for Chef Skip. If you were driving by, you would not know this store is there. You would see an "open" sign and a very very dimly lit sign above. I felt comfortable. Having traveled a little, small haunts down in New Orleans and such, I know appearances don't tell the whole story. I will return.
Chef Skip 757 is the best, especially for the Green Run High students. Every time I see them with the plate in their hands, the happiness in their faces coming from there. The environment is clean, and they're quick, and prices are reliable. Food is well season and good. Thank you, Chef Skip 757
I had the fried fish and shrimp with fries. The fish was a Lil greasy but was so well seasoned I didn't even care! I was licking the grease off my fingers like I had no shame! It was sooo good! I was kinda sad when it was gone! Can't wait to come back and try the fish tacos!
WOWZA!! We got Chef Skip delivered a few minutes ago. The food came QUICK, HOT & FRESH!! Not soggy at all. We got the steak Philly with fries, fried shrimp and hush puppies. The star of the show was the fried shrimp. My husband and I both agree this is the best fried shrimp we’ve ever had. He said it was better than the fried shrimp po’ boy he got in Louisiana. Hush puppies were incredible! Philly was also delicious!!! Highly, highly, highly recommend.
I got the Philly & Shrimp today. Was gonna DoorDash, but I wanted to come in person to check it out. Food is just like it is in the picture. Now, that's impressive and it tastes good.
